Group will host second tent revival

Mary Walbert, of Oklahoma City, will once again host a September tent revival beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 19 at NW 4 and Shartel Avenue. Walbert hosted the first tent revival with a group of friends and fellow Christians in September 2019. The event was held on vacant property at NW 4 and Shartel Avenue with permission from the property owners. Walbert said the coming revival will include 50 continual hours of praise and worship, led by Ian Parrish, plus dancers and artists creating faith-inspired art. The event is being held in conjunction with Awaken the Dawn, a national grassroots faith effort.

"It's a group of about 20 people who have come together to have praise and worship to honor God," she said.
