Beverly Louise Hough

-

EDMOND - Beverly Louise Hough was born into this world on March 18, 1945 to loving parents, Lorne and Lucille “Lucy” Sanny. On September 12, 2021, she left her life on this earth and entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she loved dearly and met with joy and peace in her heart. Beverly was a kind and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She saw the beauty in people and life and strove to be of service to those in her family and the community around her. She was known as a peacemaker and listener—someone who was always in your corner. She worked for many years as a nursing professor in five different nursing programs, teaching and encouraging others to care for those in need. She was a model of compassion and selflessness, working endlessly to serve not only her students but those in the community with limited access to medical care by leading and organizing many health fairs and outreach programs. In her final years, she battled many of her own health issues which created many challenges. However, she grew deeply in her walk with God and readily shared her increasing love and faith in her Heavenly Father, anticipating with joy the day that she would be with Him. Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Ted, two children, Charles Hough and Becky Creech, and three grandchildren, Jacob Creech, Rae Creech and Aaron Creech. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Thomas “Tom” Sanny, Charles “Chuck” Sanny, Cheryl Downing, Jean Sanny and Judy Templeton. Her family will miss her dearly, until the day we can see her again in the presence of the Glory of the Father. Sweet daughter of God, run free in peace and joy.
