Latino nonprofit to celebrate 30 years of accomplish­ments

Tables are filling up fast for Latino Community Developmen­t Agency’s 30th annual luncheon at 11 a.m. Sept. 22 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Mayor David Holt is the event’s honorary chair.

This year’s theme, 30 Years of Resilience, recognizes the work the nonprofit has accomplish­ed over three decades and how staff, volunteers and donors have responded to the ongoing pandemic.

Awards will be presented to Armando Rubio (posthumous­ly), Chris Fusselman, Jaime Luna, Irma Esqueda, Lizette Valle, Joe Cardenas and Bank of America.
