Latino nonprofit to celebrate 30 years of accomplishments
Tables are filling up fast for Latino Community Development Agency’s 30th annual luncheon at 11 a.m. Sept. 22 at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Mayor David Holt is the event’s honorary chair.
This year’s theme, 30 Years of Resilience, recognizes the work the nonprofit has accomplished over three decades and how staff, volunteers and donors have responded to the ongoing pandemic.
Awards will be presented to Armando Rubio (posthumously), Chris Fusselman, Jaime Luna, Irma Esqueda, Lizette Valle, Joe Cardenas and Bank of America.
