The number of positive COVID-19 tests reported Monday by the Oklahoma State Department of Health increased by 5,998 to a cumulative total of 598,072.
The state, via the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's provisional death count, reported 144 additional COVID-19 deaths. The state's provisional death toll during the pandemic stands at 9,892.
The new cases and deaths reported Monday also account for data reported Saturday and Sunday.
