Ralph Gale King

NORMAN - Ralph Gale King (98), passed away on September 19, 2021 in Norman, OK. Ralph was born in Lindsay, OK on March 3, 1923 to Joseph H. & Dollie (Davis) King. Ralph went on to faithfully serve his country during WWII in the U. S. Navy. Ralph married his first wife, Bonnie Garms, October 1946; together they had four children: Gayle, Joe, Sherry, & Suzanne. He married Ann Jolly in 1965. The couple had a loving marriage for 54 years until her passing in 2019. Mr. King taught school for 38 years, predominantly at U.S. Grant High school in OKC. Viewing & visitation will be Thursday, September 23 from 4pm-8pm at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary 6934 S Western OKC 73139. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 24 at 2pm, graveside service directly following. The family respectfully requests attendees to wear masks at all scheduled events.
