Myona Fay Mustain, loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great grandmothe­r and beloved child of God finished her life’s journey on Saturday September 11, 2021. She peacefully entered heaven hearing the words of Jesus, “Well done good and faithful servant !”~ Matthew 25:23 “Mona” was born January 25, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK during the time of the Great Depression. Her parents Ruey and Myrtle Wickware Johnson had five other children Milson, Vicky, Janice, Buck and Howard. Her life spanned 87 years, 7 months and 17 days. She will be fondly remembered for her kind and welcoming spirit, hospitalit­y and delicious meals, her love of music, accomplish­ed crafter, sense of fashion, gardening and love for her family. She valued her faith and was a lifelong Baptist holding membership­s at Grace Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and First Baptist Church of Bethany. She loved to sing in the church choir and teach children Bible stories in Sunday School. She graduated from Northeast High School in 1952. In addition to raising her family she was employed in sales at the iconic Sears, Roebuck and Company and then Gerald M. Young Machine Company as the office manager working alongside her husband J.D. for many years. She is survived by daughters Gwen Douglas (Mike), Ramona Fletcher (Mike), Laura Mears (Kenny), Dee North (Thomas) and son Jim Mustain (Sharon). Additional­ly, siblings Howard and Janice, sister-in-law’s Beverly Garrison and Joann Mustain, twelve grandchild­ren, thirteen great grandchild­ren, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebratio­n of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021, 10:00 AM, at Bill Merritt Funeral Service in Bethany, OK with son Rev. Jim Mustain officiatin­g.
