Annual Christmas dinner seeks donations, volunteers

The Red Andrews family, local leaders and volunteers have provided Christmas dinner to the community since 1947. This year, the Red Andrews Christmas Dinner Foundation will provide the groceries to prepare the dinner and a toy to take home from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 24 at Crossroads Church, 8901 S Shields Blvd. Beginning Dec.1, donations of new, unwrapped toys and coats will be accepted at these locations: Jackie Cooper BMW, 14145 N Broadway; Goldman Law Firm, 222 NW 13 St.; Cort Furniture; 4300 NW 39 St.; and Frontier State Bank.
