STILLWATER — Oklahoma State is off to a strong start in Big 12 play. The Cowboys overpowered Kansas State 31-20 on Saturday night inside Boone Pickens Stadium to remain undefeated on the season. Here is a look at the win through the numbers:
31: Points by OSU in the first half, the most for the Cowboys since scoring 31 in a 47-7 win over Kansas last October. The point total was a season high for OSU. However, OSU did not score in the second half.
98: Passing yards for OSU quarterback Spencer Sanders in the opening quarter, more than he totaled in the entire game at Boise State last week. Sanders threw for 344 yards against the Wildcats, a season high.
100: Receiving yards for Tay Martin, who returned for the Cowboys after missing last week and the majority of the win over Tulsa two weeks ago.
4: Catches for OSU running back Jaylen Warren, all on screens resulting in 81 yards. He averaged 20.3 yards per catch.
