OKLAHOMA CITY - Lorraine Annette Utley was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021. Surrounded by her children she passed peacefully. She lived her life with grace, courage, and faith. Lorraine was an inspiratio­n to the many lives she touched. Born on July 17, 1935 in Ponca City, Lorraine graduated from Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City. As a member of Putnam City Baptist Church, Lorraine found joy serving in many capacities. From teaching Sunday School to countless children and leading the Pioneers program, she touched generation­s of members. Lorraine enjoyed a lengthy career working as an office manager for Bill Lockard, DDS where she made lifetime friends. With unconditio­nal love, she raised two children and embraced their spouses as she claimed them as her own. She enjoyed hot air balloons, collected kaleidosco­pes, and loved colorful pots of flowers. Lorraine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Fred D. Utley, her mother and father Elizabeth and Marvin Beamer, and her brother Bill Beamer. She is survived by her children Marc and Julia Utley of Edmond, OK, Michele and Todd Voigt of Greenwich, CT, and two grandchild­ren Naomi and Chloe Voigt. Her service is to be held at Putnam City Baptist Church in Oklahoma City on Friday, October 8th at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Friends and family are welcome.
