4-H duo seeks toy donations for Mexican children

Cleveland County 4-H members Emilia and Wyatt Ashworth will soon be traveling to work and volunteer in Piedras Negras, Mexico.

Although there will be a language barrier, they would like to connect with the children in Piedras Negras. They are asking the community to partner with them in spreading joy to these children by donating new Barbie-style dolls and Matchbox-type cars. They will be hand-delivering the toys in November. Donations can be dropped off at the Cleveland County Extension Office, 601 E Robinson St., Norman. For more information, call 405-321-4774.
