Erik Ezukanma
Texas Tech, wide receiver Currently the Big 12’s leading receiver, despite missing last week’s game at West Virignia, Erik Ezukanma has established himself among the conference’s top pass catchers. Just a year ago, Ezukanma became the first Red Raider wide receiver to garner All-Big 12 first-team honors since two-time Biletnikoff Award winner Michael Crabtree in 2008. Ezukanma has picked up where he left off this season as he leads the Big 12 with 406 receiving yards and ranks 13th nationally after averaging 101.5 receiving yards per game through five games. A preseason All-Big 12 selection, Ezukanma hit the 100-yard mark in each of the first two games of the season after catching seven passes for 179 yards against Houston and then six catches for 143 yards and a touchdown against Stephen F. Austin.
