Jewish Federation chooses interim leader

-

The Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City recently chose an interim leader to succeed the organization’s outgoing executive director. Rachel Johnson will serve as the Jewish Federation’s interim executive director beginning on Oct. 21. The organization’s current executive director, Roberta Clark, has accepted the position of executive director for the Jewish Federation of Margate City, New Jersey. Johnson has been the Jewish Federation’s program director and, for the last two years, the group’s assistant executive director.

Clark has been the organization’s executive director since December of 2016. “I’ve learned so much and am grateful for the wonderful partnerships within the organization and throughout the community,” she wrote in a recent Facebook post. “Together we have worked to support and engage the Jewish community internally as well as with the community at large. I am grateful to have been so warmly welcomed and for the many new friendships.” Members of the Jewish Federation board of directors said Johnson and Clark will work together for several weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
