Jean L. Conway
BETHANY - Our loving mother, Jean L. Conway, of Bethany, OK, passed away on October 10, 2021. Jean was born January 17, 1939 in Oklahoma City to Frank W. and Margaret (King) Robisch. Jean was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and she was a Carmelite Associate. She enjoyed her career as an LPN nurse and taught private drum lessons on the side. She greatly enjoyed volunteer work and she sponsored the annual 5-mile walk-athon for The Meadows Center for Opportunity with her son, Philip, and helped at her children’s schools and church. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a beloved wife. Having her entire family together was very important to Jean as she cherished all of them. Jean was devoted to her Catholic faith. Her favorite hobbies included tap and line dancing, zumba, and polka dancing at Czech Hall in Yukon. She made the best homemade cinnamon rolls and everyone would fight over them. Jean’s personalized greeting cards will be greatly missed. She made very sweet, personalized cards for everyone on their birthdays and holidays. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Marvin A. Conway, of 59 years. She is survived by her sons, Philip G. Conway, Paul T. Conway and wife Deanna, Patrick A. Conway, DO and wife Brenda; daughters, Ruth A. Nguyen and husband Thai T. Nguyen, MD, Rita M.
