Ruble G. Garner

OKLAHOMA CITY - Ruble joined his heavenly father on Oct. 9, 2021 following a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Oklahoma City he was born April 25, 1938. A 1957 graduate of Del City H. S. where he played & lettered in basketball. Ruble retired in 1993 from F.A.A. as Information Technology Manager. A faithful & steadfast follower of Christ, he was an active member of Capitol Hill Assembly of God. Ruble was preceded in death by his parents Luther Ruble & Jeanette (Higdon) Garner & one sister Sondra Anderson. He is survived by his wife Myrna; three children; Cindy Palmer & her husband Randy; Steve Garner & his wife Tricia; & Gina Boyland & her husband Jeff; six grandchildren, one great granddaughter & his sister Beverly Fuller & her husband Roy. Visitation will be this Wed. & Thurs. from 4-8 PM with the family present to greet friends on Thurs. Oct 14. from 5-7 PM at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary @ South Lakes 4000 S. W. 119th OKC, OK 73173. Services to honor & celebrate his life will be held 2 P.M. Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at Capitol Hill Assembly of God 2400 S. W. 74th OKC, OK. 73159.
