OSU players make honorable mention

Oklahoma State's Avery Anderson and Moussa Cisse were honorable mention picks on the Big 12 Men's Basketball Preseason Awards list. No player from OSU or Oklahoma made the first team.

Kansas guard Remy Martin was chosen as the Preseason Player of the Year, and Texas guard Marcus Carr as the Newcomer of the Year. Baylor's Kendall Brown was selected as Freshman of the Year.

Selections were made by league coaches; coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
