Robert “Bob” Virden

OKLAHOMA CITY - Robert (Bob) Virden, 74, of Oklahoma City, passed away onOctober 6th 2021.

Bob was born on Sep. 26th 1947 to Kenneth and Helen Virden in Renton, WA. After Bob graduated from Falls High in International Falls, MN in 1966, he went on to join the Air Force and marry his hometown sweetheart, Sandra Eaton (Sandy). Bob and Sandy went on to celebrate 54 years of marriage together and raise 2 children, Jeremy and Dorothy (Dottie).

Bob spent 22 proud years in the Air Force, retiring as Captain. Bob’s civil career involved traversing this great country driving 18-wheelers and working for himself as a successful realtor before retiring a final time to enjoy the things that brought him the most joy in life.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Helen Virden. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his wife SandyVirden; son, Jeremy Virden; daughter, DottieVirden and her husband Robby Curtis; grandson, Julian Virden; and his siblings, Patricia (Patti) Jones andMorris (Moe) Virden and his wife Carol Virden.

Funeral services will be held at Fort Sill National Cemetery on Monday, October 18th, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
