The Oklahoman

Follow along with Oklahoman reporters as we check out local haunts

- Jana Hayes The Oklahoman USA TODAY NETWORK

This October, The Oklahoman is visiting several local haunted attractions and bringing the frights to you every Friday until Halloween.

Second on our list is the Wicked Forest of Terror, 9420 W I-40 Service Rd. Tickets are sold on location from 7 to 11 p.m. each night the haunt is open, or they can be purchased at wickedforestofterror.com.

When you arrive, you’ll be met with a concession stand and the “Wicked Casket Experience,” where you can pay $5 to lay inside a closed casket. Those brave enough will get the sensation of being buried alive.

Once you’re ready, you can hop in line for the forest trail, which is about a 20 minute walk through the woods, where a new terror lurks around every corner. After you’ve made it out, you can have your group’s photo taken in front of the “Terror Mobile.”
