Steven James Miller

Steven James Miller was born on May 5, 1950 to Ernest Lee and Carolyn Ann Moroney Miller. Steve passed away on October 6, 2021 surrounded by family. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Carol DeLaughter and her husband Paul, brother-inlaw Steve Martin, and sister-in-law Dani Miller. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Becky Miller; sisters Susie Ockert and husband Harvey, Katie Martin, and brother John Miller; sisters-in law, Carol Zink and Veda Zink and brother-in-law, Doug Zink; four children, Scott Miller and wife Nancy, Danny Miller and wife Amy, Justin Miller, and Jamie Mlinar and husband Joe; grandchildren Ryan, Caleb, Clayton, Hannah, Olivia, Gavin, and Sam; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his former wife, Melinda Vandell and good friends Brian and Terri. Steve graduated Northwest Classen High School in 1968. He spent 17 years at Kimray and the last 30 years as co-owner of the family business, Lester Sales Co. Inc. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held October 24, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Mustang Town Center, 1201 N. Mustang Road.
