Clifton “Cliff ” Moore
OKLAHOMA CITY - Clifton “Cliff ” Moore of Oklahoma City, OK, passed on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 62 years of age. He was born to Carl and Louise Moore in East St. Louis, IL and grew up in Belleville, IL. He is survived by wife Helen Moore, daughters and sons-in-law; Deneen Richelle, Leslie and Dustin Weiher, Jennifer and Casey Oller, and Kelcy and Thomas Trowbridge, grandchildren; Colby, Kynlee, Greyson, Karley, Laithon, Bowen, Corbyn, Raegan, Cashyn and Laynie, daddy; Carl Moore Sr., siblings; Alma and Gary Marshall, Debbie and Carl Moore Jr., Don Moore, and Diane Tiemann. He is preceded in death by his mother Louise Moore, granddaughter Kortney Trowbridge, brother-in-law Eric Tiemann, grandparents, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cliff touched so many lives throughout his time on earth. Everyone who knew him acknowledges how special Cliff was to them and what their relationship meant to them. His smile lit up a room. He was the life of every party and always the biggest fan. He wanted everyone to feel included, loved, wanted and happy. He was so talented in many areas, but building things (construction) and leading a team through construction projects was what he excelled at. Cliff was a central part of constructing so many major projects that remain a beautiful part of the Oklahoma landscape today. His love for his family both immediate and extended was unmatched, yet a trait that was adored by all around him. Everyone that he met and knew, knew his love for his “girls.” He was so proud of the country home and acreage that he built with Helen in Oklahoma City as well as their lake house at Texoma, their happy place. He loved the lake and all the fun fishing, boating, swimming and family/friend time that was had there. Everywhere he went he brought energy, happiness, love, and entertainment and to know Cliff was to love him.
Services will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at The National Cowboy Hall of Fame, 1700 NE 63rd Street, OKC, OK 73111. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. The service will start at 2 p.m. There will be a celebration of life at Cliff and Helen’s home immediately following the service. Please join us for food, laughter and a bonfire at dusk, while reminiscing about Cliff and all he was to everyone.
