OU SOUL Mission Breakfast to benefit Fields & Futures

OU football fans have a unique opportunit­y to hear from new Sooner head coach Brent Venables while helping a local nonprofit.

The OU SOUL Mission Kickoff Breakfast benefitting Fields & Futures will be held March 30 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th Street. Doors open at 7:30 a.m.

Dubbed “a morning of great food, fellowship and conversati­on,” Venables and members of his SOUL team will be part of the program. Former Sooners Josh Norman, Curtis Lofton and Caleb Kelly were hired recently to help implement SOUL, a leadership initiative inside the football program.

Tickets for the kickoff breakfast are $500 for individual­s and $4,000 for a table of eight. They can be purchased at FieldsandF­utures.org/OUSOULMiss­ion.

All proceeds will be earmarked for middle school field maintenanc­e in Oklahoma City Public Schools, where Fields & Futures has worked to renovate and rebuild athletic facilities across the district.
