Klaribel Kirk, Guthrie

Weight: 100 | Class: Sophomore

The story: She battled injuries to her thumb but had a breakout season and claimed her first regional title.

Wrestler of the Year finalist: Peyton Hand, Choctaw

Weight: 107 | Class: Junior

The story: Last year’s 112-pound champion, Hand claimed the 107pound title this season at Oklahoma’s second officially sanctioned girls wrestling state tournament.

Wrestler of the Year finalist: Bella Williams, Edmond North

Weight: 114 | Class: Freshman

The story: Williams pinned Norman North’s Devin Jansing in the state tournament finals, finishing 25-0 on the year.

Wrestler of the Year finalist: Khaleah Kirk, Guthrie

Weight: 120 | Class: Junior

The story: An elite gymnast during her childhood, Kirk is now a standout wrestler. She won her first state title this season and went 21-0.

Shelby Kemp, Moore

Weight: 126 | Class: Sophomore

The story: She had a strong season, going 19-4 and placing third at

the state tournament.

Aubrianna Smith, Westmoore

Weight: 132 | Class: Junior

The story: Smith won the West Regional before placing second at the state tournament and finishing with a 26-3 record.

Shelby Shoemate, Noble

Weight: 138 | Class: Sophomore

The story: Shoemate was the West Regional champion at 138 pounds and runner-up at the state tournament.

Mia Cayard, Mustang

Weight: 145 | Class: Junior

The story: She beat Bixby’s Emma Thompson 7-0 in the state tournament finals, claiming the first title of her career.

Kaylee Davis, Yukon

Weight: 152 | Class: Sophomore

The story: Davis, last year’s 161-pound champion, placed third at the state tournament this season.

Ma’ryia Hawkins, Douglass

Weight: 165 | Class: Freshman

The story: One of the top freshman wrestlers in Oklahoma, she went 16-3 and placed third at the state tournament.

Alicia Loveless Soliz, Moore

Weight: 185 | Class: Junior

The story: She placed second while helping the Lions claim their second consecutiv­e regional crown.

Addyson Lindsey, Norman

Weight: 235 | Class: Senior

The story: She had a solid senior season, winning a regional championsh­ip and placing third at the state tournament.

Coach of the Year: Matt Douglass, Moore

The story: Robert Washington is the head coach of the Moore wrestling program, but he credits Douglass as the main leader of the girls squad, which won its second straight West Regional title and placed fourth at the state tournament.
