FORT COBB - Gary Orrell, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, went to be with the Lord at the age of 78. Throughout his life, Gary was known for his hard-working nature, intelligence, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.

Born in 1944, Gary began his career as a corporate executive and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a well-respected and successful business leader. Despite his demanding job, Gary never lost his love for the land and his passion for cattle ranching. In his free time, he tended to his herd, honing his skills and building a successful part-time cattle operation.

Gary decided to follow his heart and pursue cattle ranching full-time. He retired from his corporate position and devoted himself completely to his ranching business, where he became known as one of the best cattle ranchers in the area.

Aside from his professional life, Gary was a deeply religious man and a dedicated member of the Cowboy Church in Apache, OK. He was known for his musical talent and was a talented drummer, often performing at church events and bringing joy to those around him.

Gary and his wife, Glenda, also shared a love of country and western dancing. They enjoyed hitting the dance floor on the weekends and were known for their graceful moves and infectious energy.

Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, love, faith, and joy that will continue to inspire others for years to come. May he rest in peace.
