Turner, daughter-in-law Summer Lee, and grandchildren Memphis and Sailor Lee, and Remington “Remy” Turner. He is also survived by his brothers, Bobby, Jim, Denis, and Dale Lee, and sisters, Connie Weidman, Becky and Melissa Lee, and Mollie Olson, his niece Sarah and her family, nephews Jesse and Donnie and their families, and nephew Jarred. He is further survived by countless in-laws, extended family, friends, and neighbors, that while too many to name, all held a special place in his heart. He was a beloved husband, father, and Beepaw. A cherished brother and uncle. A dear colleague, neighbor, coach, mentor, and friend. And in all of these roles, he was unparalleled. Never less than a shining example of what the rest of us should aspire to be. David spent his career in the coffee and tea industry, serving in various executive roles for Cain’s, Sarah Lee, and most recently, Newco Coffee, where he was able to finish his career alongside friends and co-workers whom he held in the highest regard. David’s favorite activity was always time spent around loved ones. Secondary to this, he enjoyed history, music, Andy Griffith reruns, and most of all, fishing. He will be fiercely missed, but never forgotten. We will gather at 10:00 AM on Saturday March 11th to celebrate his life. Please join us at Matthews Funeral Home located at 601. S. Kelly in Edmond, OK, 73003. In lieu of flowers, David asks that you please donate to Infant Crisis Services. As a final request, David asks that when we gather, we try to keep the noise to a minimum, lest we scare all the fish away.
