Here is The Oklahoman’s 2023 Little All-City high school boys track and field first team.

Jordyn Harris, Heritage Hall

Class: Junior | Event: 100 meters

The story: He placed fifth in the 100 (10.87 seconds) at the Class 3A state meet. Harris also helped the Chargers finish the 400 relay in 41.96 as they broke the Class 3A state meet record the program set last year with a time of 42.08.

Track athlete of the Year finalist: Andy Bass, Heritage Hall

Class: Junior | Event: 200 meters

The story: He had an outstandin­g season, claiming Class 3A titles in the 100 (10.56), 200 (21.74) and 400 relay (41.96).

Elijah Green, Classen SAS

Class: Junior | Event: 400 meters

The story: A Rivals three-star football recruit, Green is also a standout in track and claimed the Class 4A championsh­ip in the 400 (48.72).

Grayson Mitchell, Washington

Class: Senior | Event: 800 meters

The story: He placed sixth in the 800 at the Class 3A state meet, finishing in 2:00.85.

Jackson Fowler, Heritage Hall

Class: Senior | Event: 1,600 meters The story: A standout distance runner, he claimed the Class 3A championsh­ip in the 3,200 (10:14.99) and placed fifth in the 1,600 (4:36.89).

Corbin Galt, Perkins-Tryon

Class: Junior | Event: 3,200 meters The story: He was the Class 4A runnerup in the 3,200 with a time of 10:07.18.

Maddox Motley, North Rock Creek

Class: Junior | Event: 110-meter hurdles

The story: He finished the 110 hurdles in 14.62 for the Class 4A title.

Major Sharp, Tuttle

Class: Junior | Event: 300-meter hurdles

The story: He was the Class 4A runnerup in both the 300 hurdles (40.75) and 110 hurdles (15.04).

Graham Murphy, Heritage Hall

Class: Freshman | Event: High jump The story: He had an impressive freshman campaign and won the Class 3A high jump title, clearing 6 feet, 8 inches.

Rayne Major, Pauls Valley

Class: Junior | Event: Long jump

The story: He placed third at the Class 4A state meet in the long jump with a leap of 22-6.

Layton Starkey, Luther

Class: Senior | Event: Pole vault

The story: He cleared 11-6 at the Class 3A state meet and placed third.

Jace Warren, Tuttle

Class: Junior | Event: Shot put

The story: His toss of 54-73⁄ in the

shot put gave him a third-place finish at the Class 4A state meet.

Zane Zamanski, Southwest Covenant

Class: Junior | Event: Discus

The story: He claimed a pair of titles at the Class 2A state meet, winning the discus (165-8) and shot put (53-51⁄4).

Coach of the Year: Eric Lyons, Heritage Hall

The story: He led Class 3A Heritage Hall to its fifth boys track crown and first since 2017. The Chargers finished with 116 points at the state meet, 10 more than runner-up Owasso Rejoice Christian.
