ALL-CITY BOYS WRESTLING FIRST TEAM Jake Goodin, Edmond North

Here are the first-team members of The Oklahoman’s 2024 All-City boys wrestling squad.

Weight: 106 | Class: Junior

The story: He claimed his first Class 6A championsh­ip as he defeated Broken Arrow freshman Rudy Rojas in a 9-1 major decision in the finals.

Aydan Thomas, Stillwater

Weight: 113 | Class: Junior

The story: He became a two-time Class 6A champion as he won the 113-pound crown.

Devon Miller, Edmond North

Weight: 120 | Class: Junior

The story: Miller defeated Piedmont star and OU signee Cash Donnell in a 3-2 decision in the Class 6A finals as he claimed his first title. Miller was at Westmoore last year and lost to Donnell in a 2-1 ultimate tiebreaker in the finals, so the title win was a revenge victory of sorts for Miller.

Beric Jordan, Noble

Weight: 126 | Class: Senior

The story: The OU signee transferre­d from Stillwater during his senior season and thrived for the Bears, finishing 39-0 and winning the Class 5A 120-pound title. Jordan won the championsh­ip at 120 but also competed at 126 some during the season.

JJ McComas, Stillwater

Weight: 132 | Class: Senior

The story: An Oklahoma State signee, McComas won his second Class 6A title as he defeated Bixby sophomore Isaiah Jones in a 14-3 major decision in the finals.

Hunter Hollingswo­rth, Edmond North

Weight: 138 | Class: Senior

The story: The OU signee finished as the Class 6A runner-up at 138 pounds. Hollingswo­rth lost to Bixby star and Missouri signee Jace Roller in a 3-1 decision in a back-and-forth championsh­ip match.

Layton Schneider, Edmond North

Weight: 144 | Class: Senior

The story: Another great season for Schneider, who defended his Class 6A title at 144 pounds and will continue his career at Air Force. Schneider finished his senior year with a 42-3 record.

Joseph Jeter, Edmond North

Weight: 150 | Class: Sophomore

The story: He won his first Class 6A title as he beat Bixby junior Ishmael Guerrero in a 7-3 decision in the championsh­ip match.

Kody Routledge, Edmond North

Weight: 157 | Class: Junior

The story: A Nebraska commit, Routledge claimed his first Class 6A championsh­ip and went 39-2. He beat Stillwater star and OU signee Landyn Sommer in a 4-3 decision in the finals after Sommer went undefeated last year and won the 165-pound crown.

LaDarion Lockett, Stillwater

Weight: 165 | Class: Junior

The story: Another dominant season for one of the nation’s top recruits in the 2025 class. Lockett, an Oklahoma State commit, won his third Class 6A championsh­ip and went 38-1.

Ethan Teague, Tuttle

Weight: 175 | Class: Junior

The story: The Oklahoma State commit finished with a perfect record as he went 37-0 and won his second Class 4A title.

Talon McCollom, Edmond North

Weight: 190 | Class: Senior

The story: McCollom missed time due to an injury but returned and thrived when it mattered most. He won his second Class 6A championsh­ip and will continue his career at Air Force.

Oscar Williams, Edmond North

Weight: 215 | Class: Senior

The story: He got over the hump and won his first Class 6A title this year. Williams, who will continue his career at Maryland, finished 41-3.

Ricky Thomas, Edmond North

Weight: 285 | Class: Senior

The story: The OU signee defended his Class 6A heavyweigh­t title and had a stellar season, going 42-2.

Coach of the Year: Andy Schneider, Edmond North

The story: Schneider led Edmond North to the most dominant season in Oklahoma high school wrestling history. The Class 6A Huskies set a state tournament record as they finished with 260.5 points and won the title. They had 14 state placers, which was also a record, and those wrestlers each placed at least in the top three. Edmond North also won the dual state championsh­ip and set records there, too, and the Huskies are ranked as one of the best in the country.
