Fernande A. Poulin, 94, of Camden
Fernande A. Poulin, 94, of Camden, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
She was born Dec. 9, 1918 in Berlin, N. H., a daughter of Alphonse and Laetitia Dion Rousseau. On Sept. 4, 1944, she married Emery J. Poulin in Lewiston, Maine. Together they owned and operated Island Road Mobile Home Park in Palermo, N. Y. Mrs. Poulin also worked as a waitress at Child’s Restaurant in Syracuse, Bristol Labs and

also as supervisor of housekeeping at the Dewitt Ranch Motel for many years. She loved to sing and play the organ. She and her husband moved to the Syracuse area in 1951, later moving to Palermo in 1975 and then Camden in 2001. Mr. Poulin passed away 2002.
She is survived by their son, Ronald and Kathy Poulin, Camden; five grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; two sisters, Irene Donatt, Marseilles, Ill. and Doris LeVesque, Berlin, N. H. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven siblings. The family would like to extend their thanks to Margaret Grant and all the wonderful ladies that took loving care of Fern over the years allowing her to remain in her own home and surroundings.
Graveside services will be held in the spring at St. John’s Cemetery under the direction of the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Camden, N. Y. There will be no calling hours.
