Sandra Lynn Fogelberg, 62, of Munnsville

Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Fogelberg, of Munnsville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at Oneida Healthcare at the age of 62.

Born March 12, 1950 in Syracuse, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Elizabeth Faulkner Wilkins. Sandy enjoyed the life of a devoted Army wife and lived in such places as Arizona, Alaska, Texas, Maryland and Germany.

Sandy’s interests were cooking, baking, painting, drawing, sewing, shopping, antiques, crafts and country music. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, helping others and most recently genealogy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Carl T. Fogelberg Jr. of Munnsville; three children, Carrie ( Justen) Wahl of Naperville, Ill., Kirsten ( Samori) Owens of Hope Mills, N. C. and Stephen ( Mindy) Fogelberg of Ft. Belvoir, Va.; grandchildren, Madeleine, Meredith and

Ronin Wahl, Karlaina Fogelberg, Ember and Evan Owens, Janelle O’Neil and Abbie and Dillon Sjstrom; six sisters and a brother, Susan Walburger of Liverpool, Elizabeth Jacobs of Brewerton, Sherry Wilkins of Des Moines, Iowa, Stephanie Edwards of Tully, John Wilkins of Clarksville, Tenn., Valerie Dowe of Liverpool and Vickie Donella of Fayetteville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at 10 a. m. from the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse. Interment will follow at Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 2- 5 p. m. at the funeral home.
