The Sullivan Free Library, 101 Falls Blvd., Chittenang­o, continues its Wednesday movies at 1 p. m. on May 29 with “The Impossible,” 2012, rated PG- 13, starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts. The drama is based on a true story.

Admission and popcorn are free. Viewers are welcome to bring their own beverage and snacks. Brockport and Eaton in the galleries.

In the East Gallery, Jeanne Heifetz pays tribute to post- war Latin American abstract artists in her “Geometry of Hope” series. In the West Gallery, Christian Carson, assistant professor of art and arts for children at SUNY Brockport, explores the intersecti­on between human rituals and natural occurrence­s in “Yardwork.” And in the Arts Cafe Gallery Rachel Ling creates collages and then paints images of amorphous organic elements that tell a story or express an interestin­g juxtaposit­ion.

A reception for the artists will be held at 5 p. m., Saturday, June 1, followed by the dynamic guitar duo of Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb at 8 p. m. in the main theater. in Sylvan Beach. Price includes the greens fee, golf cart, snack at the turn, doughnuts and coffee, gift and choice of steak or chicken for lunch. Not a golfer? Come join for lunch, $ 20 for chicken or $ 25 for steak.
