Weather delays softball playoffs another day
Stormy weather pushed back Dispatch- area softball games for Hamilton, Stockbridge and Oneida to Thursday.
Heavy rain postponed Section III playoff games for three Dispatch- area teams Wednesday afternoon. Hamilton and Oriskany were scoreless in the top of the second inning when their Class D semifinal was postponed. Stockbridge Valley had a 2- 0 lead in the other Class D semifinal in the middle of the second. Both of those games will be resumed today at 5 p. m. at the John Kost Memorial Complex in Rome. Oneida’s Class A semifinal against Fulton didn’t start and will be played today at 7 p. m. at the Gillette Road Complex in Cicero.
