AARP driving class June 10, 11

ONEIDA >> Oneida Public Library will sponsor an AARP driver safety course at the library, 220 Broad St., on Monday, June 10 and Tuesday June 11.

Class will run from 10 a. m. until 1 p. m. each day. Participants must attend both days to complete the course.

Pre- registration is required.

Any individual with a valid driver’s license is encouraged to apply.

Check or money order payable to AARP should be mailed to Fish at 1168 Crescent Ave., Oneida, N. Y. 13421.

The course fee is $ 17 for AARP members or $ 19 for non- members.

The two- day refresher course takes into account many traffic problems that confront drivers.

All sessions will be done with student workbooks, audio/ visuals and classroom discussions pertinent to driver safety.

Course participation allows a participant to receive a discount on vehicle insurance premiums for three years.
