Canoe and kayaking trip June 8
HUBBARDSVILLE >> Enjoy a springtime paddle through beautiful Nine- Mile Swamp in Hubbardsville on Saturday, June 8.
This 3- hour expedition will be guided by Friends of Rogers Center staff and volunteers and is an excellent trip for beginners and those who want to view the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
A caravan will leave the Rogers Center parking lot at 8: 15 a. m. Rogers Center can provide a boat for $ 20 for members and $ 23 for nonmembers.
Participants can also bring their own boat and meet staff at the NineMile Swamp at 8: 45 a. m.
They would pay $ 15 for members and $ 20 for non- members.
This is a popular program for ages 13 and up, and preregistration is required.
Children between the ages of 13 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited.

Rogers Center is now operated by Friends of Rogers Environmental Education Center, Inc., a nonprofit organization that continues to offer educational programs for both adults and children.
The Center is open to the public Wednesday – Saturday 10 a. m. to 4: 30 p. m. and Sunday 11 a. m. to 3 p. m. with the trails open seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
