Lynda L. Hudson, 58, of Oneida

ONEIDA>> Lynda L. Hudson, 58, East Elm Street, died Sunday afternoon, Sept. 25, 2016 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a medical patient for the past eight days.

Born in Oneida, on April 10, 1958, she was a daughter of Donald R. and Marion Welch Hudson. A lifelong resident of Oneida, Lynda was a graduate of the Oneida High School.

Prior to her illness, Lynda was employed with the Turning Stone Casino. She attended St. Paul’s Church and greatly loved her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Joseph Salerno Jr. of Oneida; her twin sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Lisa Hoose of Vernon and Paul and Korina Hoose of Oneida; her six grandchildren, Samantha Salerno and her fiancé, Kurtis Strong, Marissa Salerno, Nathasha Hoose, Nathaniel Hoose, Ethan Hoose and Averie Hoose; her father, Don- ald R. Hudson of Oneida; her three sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia and David Watson and Justine and Lonnie Rood, all of Oneida and Mary Ellen and Phillip Coon of Canastota; her brother and sister-inlaw, Keith and Kathy Hudson of Oneida; her sisterin-law, Pamela Hudson of Oneida; her late brother’s former wife, Michele Newman of Oneida; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Marion Hudson and her brother, Donald W. Hudson. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday at the family plot in Oneida Castle Cemetery, with the Rev.
