Walter E. Youngs Jr., 47, of Munnsville

MUNNSVILLE>> Walter E. Youngs Jr., 47, of 6354 Middle Road, Munnsville, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, at the Albany Medical Center, following a brief illness.

He was born on Sept. 9, 1969, in Seoul, Korea, a son of Walter Sr. and Suk Cha (Chu) Youngs.

Walt lived in Munnsville most of his life, graduating from Stockbridge Valley High School in 1988. He later attended SUNY Morrisville.

He had been in the Army National Guard.

Walt worked at the Diemolding Health Division in Wampsville.

He enjoyed doing things on the computer and video games.

Surviving are: his fa- ther, Walter E. Youngs Sr. of Munnsville; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins, including a special aunt and uncle, Sally and Bill Berdanier of Verona. Walt was predeceased by his mother; and a brother, James A. Youngs.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2016, at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James St., Canastota. The Rev. James Pollock will offi- ciate. Burial will be in Stockbridge Cemetery, Munnsville. There will be no calling hours. In his memory, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Fla. 32256, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
