Construction and manufacturing job fair

A “Building Syracuse” construction and manufacturing training and job fair will be held Wednesday, March 29, from 2-6 p.m. at the Syracuse Marriott Hotel.

The job fair will focus on two growing fields in Syracuse: construction and manufacturing. More than 30 employers and job training organizations will be in attendance to provide information on job openings and vocational job training and conduct on-site interviews. In addition, free workshops on interviewing skills and working with a criminal history will be available at the event.

The “Building Syracuse” Construction and Manufacturing Training and Job Fair was developed by a collaboration of community and educational organizations seeking to provide Syracuse area job seekers employment and training opportunities for construction and manufacturing. Event sponsors Syracuse Housing Authority and Onondaga County Reentry Task Force collaborated with Co- Spon- sors SUNY EOC, the Center for Community Alternatives, Jobs Plus!, CNY Works, Greater Syracuse Works, Jubilee Homes of Syracuse and the Urban Jobs Task Force to provide the job and training fair to benefit all Syracuse area job seekers.

This event is open to the public. Pre-registration is not required. The Syracuse Marriott is located at 100 E. Onondaga St.
