Margaret “Maggie” Snyder, daughter of Geoff and Maureen Snyder of Oneida, graduated from Ithaca College in December 2016. Snyder was named to the Ithaca College Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester and graduated with honors while earning her bachelor of arts degree in theater studies with a minor in music. As part of her college curriculum she attended the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neil Theater in Waterford, Conn. for her junior year fall semester, and also attended the Performing Arts Project at Wake Forest University this past July. Following graduation, Snyder accepted an internship at the New York Music Festival in New York City and plans to stay involved with the NYMF this summer while pursuing performance opportunities in NYC.

Nathan Pittman of Cazenovia graduated from Grove City College on Dec. 20, 2016 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Pittman, a 2012 graduate of home school, is the son of Todd and Irenee Pittman.

The following local students were named to the Dean’s List at The College of Saint Rose for the fall 2016 semester:

Joseph A. Brown of Vernon Center was named to the D’Youville College Deans List. Brown is a nursing major.

The following students have been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University’s Dean’s List for academic achievement during the fall 2016 semester.

Haley Harrington of Madison has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester at the SUNY College of Technology at Delhi. Harrington is pursuing an associate’s degree in veterinary science technology.

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has named Bradley Mallinder of Oneida to the school’s Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester.

Samantha Prossner of Cazenovia has been named to the fall 2016 Dean’s List at Loyola University Maryland.
