Climate change deniers wrong
Despite the overwhelming evidence, it’s curious the idea of climate change is still claimed by a small minority to be a hoax. Ask a climate change denialist about sources or proof and they either stammer or cite sources not substantial due to their frequent no-evidence conspiracy theories.
Who you get your information from matters and reliable news sources will have a factual basis to their reports. Most denialists just simply state that climate change is a hoax, offering no evidence to their claim. I can provide a list of 140 of the world’s national academies confirming climate change. Willie Soon was popularly cited as a doubter about climate change for several years. Scientists pointed out his errors, but he really lost credibility when it was discovered Soon had not been frank about having “received over $1 million from petroleum and coal interests” as reported by Popular Science and The Boston Globe in 2013. Richard Muller, a climate change doubter, was funded by the Koch brothers to prove climate change was false and when Muller had finished his study in 2011, the Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal reported that Muller stated “global warming is real.”
In 2015, The Scientific American revealed it was discovered in Exxon-Mobil files that they had done research in 1977 that proved burning fossil fuels causes climate change. Now if this claim was a hoax, then at the very least, Exxon-Mobil would have publicly denied it, but curiously, they never denied the validity of their own research.
Also, could it be that everyone at the U.S. Department of Defense are too stupid to see this hoax? For many years our military has been warning us about the security implications of climate change. And what are the probabilities that 193 countries, world-wide who agree with the consensus about climate change would all be uniformly fooled? Not likely.
Sadly, the real hoax here is the manufactured doubt about climate change.
