ONEIDA 5, WHITESBORO 4 >> Oneida rallied with five runs over the final three innings, pulling in front with a three-run seventh to win its opener. Lauren Skibitski and Hannah Begay had three hits apiece in the winning effort.

CAZENOVIA5, MARCELLUS0 >> The Lakers dropped just two games combined in the three singles matches, including a 6- 0, 6- 0 victory by seventh grader Mitch Romig. CANASTOTA3, HERKIMER1 >> Adam Burbank didn’t drop a game in his second singles victory and the Raiders took their other two points in straight sets to win their season opener.
