Encore: ‘Les Miserables’ screening at Kallet
ONEIDA, N.Y. » Didn’t get a chance to see Oneida High School’s “Les Miserable” live on stage? Have you been reading all about it online and in the paper? Hankering for an encore performance?
The Kallet Civic Center, located at 159 Main St. in Oneida, in collaboration with Bogardus Performing Arts Center and Oneida High School Drama Club, will host a special celebration and screening of OneidaHigh School’s award-winning production of “Les Miserable” on Thursday, July
13 at 6 p.m. This event will include: •a short welcome by Kallet Civic Center Board of Director President Morgan Harrington;
•an awards summary and a “community thank you” by OneidaHigh School Les Miserable Director Brett Bogardus, President of Bogardus Performing Arts Center;
•an introduction of the cast;
•amusical number by the cast;
•and a special screening of the Saturday night performance of OHS’s production of “Les Miserable.”
General admission tickets are $5 and can be purchased at CelebrateLesMis. Eventbrite.com.
Tickets are limited and are first-come first-serve. If the event sells out in advance, tickets will not be available night of show.
Proceeds will benefit both the Oneida High School Drama Club and the Kallet Civic Center.
Doors to the Kallet Civic Center will open at 5 p.m., with the even beginning at 6 p.m.
A full bar and concession stand will be open.
Members of the cast and crew will receive one free ticket per person.
