College acceptances
Bridget Forbes is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. She is the daughter of Amber and Michael Forbes.
Forbes plans to join the United States Marine Corps and wi l l study criminal justice, chemi st r y and sports medicine.
While attending OHS, Forbes participated in track and field, Marching Band, Z Club, cross country and Jazz Band. Abigail Janczuk is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Aaron Scalise of Oneida.
Janc zuk has been accepted to Utica College, Herkimer County Community College, Hartwick College, SUNY Geneseo, Finger Lakes Community College, Mohawk Valley Community College and Keuka College. She will attend HCCC to major in psychology/occupational therapy.
While attending OHS, Janczuk participated in Zonta Club, Concert Choir, Wind Ensemble, Chamber Choir and Environmental Club. She also participated in varsity soccer, volleyball, track and field, and dance team.
Jeffrey Coulter is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of Christopher and Amy Coulter of Oneida.
Coulter has been accepted to Binghamton University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He will attend RPI and major in engineering and management.
While attending OHS, Coulter participated in varsity basketball, where he was named TVL Player of the Year and All CNY Selection; Science Olympiad, where he won 1st Pla c e in Air Trajectory and 4th Place in Materials Science; Future Business Leaders of America; track team, where he was Class B High Jump Sectional Champion; soccer; and Electric Car Club, where he served as secretary.
Jared A. George is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of Susan and Scott George of Oneida. George has been accepted at and will attending Clarkson University, where he will major in engineering and management.
While attending OHS, George participated in National Honor Society, soccer, track and Ski Club.
Justin Cross Brewer is a member of the Class of 2017 at Oneida High School. He is the son of Russ and Deb Brewer of Oneida.
Brewer has been accepted at and will attend Mohawk Valley Community College, where he will major in graphic des i gn. He plans to continue his studies at a four-year college after graduating from MVCC.
While attending OHS, Brewer participated in National Honor Society, cross country, track and field, volleyball, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, and Gaming Club. He became an Eagle Scout in 2017. Brewer is a member of Oneida First United Methodist Church, where he serves as an usher and participates in the bell choir.
