EATON » Patricia Ann Ri fenburg Utter, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at her home with the love and the support of her family at her side.

She was born in Morrisvill­e on Aug. 26, 1939, the daughter of Lewis George and Frieda May Mason Rifenburg. Pat was a graduate of Morrisvill­e Central School. She was twice married. On Nov. 1, 1971, Pat married the love of her life, Daniel R. Utter. Their loving union lasted 15 years until Daniel’s passing in 1986. Pat had received her hairdresse­r’s license and at one time owned a beauty salon in Bouckville. In 1976, she graduated from the BOCES Licensed Practical Nurse’s Program. A career that she embraced, she worked as an OBGYN nurse at Hamilton’s Community Memorial Hospital, and had also served as Dr. Bowen’s nurse. Her 34-year career ended with her retirement in 2010. She was very proud of all the babies she helped bring into this world. Pat had served on the Town of Eaton’s Planning Board and the Hawk Cemetery Board for numerous years. She was also a Public Notary, as well as a former licensed real estate agent. She had a deep love for her children, grandchild­ren, great- grandchild­ren, and was also a devoted wife, sister, and best friend to many.

Pat is survived by her beloved children, Roxy (Clark) Marshall, of Morrisvill­e, Howard Moot, of Bouckville; her beloved grandchild­ren, Meridith (Lloyd) Faulkner, Eric (Holly) Marshall, Nicole (James) Craver, and Amanda Moot, and her fiancée, Brian Clay; her beloved great-grandchild­ren, Samantha, Colby, and Madelyn Faulkner, Tyler, Cristian, Margaret, and Kaylee Craver, Sheldon and Autumn Moot; her brother, Eugene ( Roxyann) Rifenburg. Many nieces, nephews, and dear close friends also survive Pat.

Pat was predecease­d by her parents, her husband, Daniel, and her brother, Kenny Rifenburg.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Interment will take place in Hawk Cemetery, Georgetown. There will be no calling hours. To share a memory or condolence, go to: paulfunera­lhome.net
