CHITTENANGO18, UTICA PROCTOR1 » Chittenango had no issues taking care of Utica Proctor on the road Saturday, ripping off double figure goals in an 18-1 win. Zeph Scott buried five goals for the Bears, followed Seth Spurgeon and Caleb Barnard with three each. Shane Kolb dished out six assists as the Bears improved to 3-2 on the season.

Madeline Cross drove in five runs and Hailey Eaton went 2-of-4 with a pair of RBI to lead the Cougars offensively. Alaina Beane earned the win in three innings of work before giving way to Kelly Greene.

CORCORAN9, CHITTENANGO 4» Corcoran used a fivegoal performance from Erin Lehmann to down Chittenango 9-5 on Friday. Julia Pynn netted a goal and served up two assists for the Bears in the loss.

HAMILTON 3, CLINTON 2 » Hamilton was able to edge Clinton courtesy of strong singles play from Noah Walden and Aidan Woods. Kevin Schult and Quinn Robertson teamed for a win in doubles to help squeak Hamilton past Clinton, 3-2.

STOCK BRIDGE VALLEY 6, WATERVILLE 3 » Stockbridge Valley took down Waterville in six innings on Thursday, boosted by senior Josh Wagner’s 2-for3, two RBI day at the plate. Sophomore Chad Masker added an RBI and two runs scored, and freshamn Tanner Dager closed out the final inning in his first varsity experience on the mound to ensure SV’s rookie coach Sanders Shanks his first coaching win.
Wednesday Results Boys Track and Field
ONEIDA, N.Y. » Camden flexed its track and field muscles Wednesday night, taking down Oneida and Vernon-Verona-Sherrill in blustery weather.
The Blue Devils stacked up well against hosting Oneida, taking 13 of the 17 possible events for a 10140 win.
Camden used the strength of its performance in the field to hold off a VVS side that put in a strong performance on the track for an 84-53 win.
VVS outscored Oneida 90- 49, aided by sweeping victories in track events.

VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 87, PROCTOR44 » Vernon-Verona-Sherrill cruised to an 87-44 win against Utica Proctor on Wednesday, buoyed by strong performances from Del- aney Brewer, Olivia Furman, Mary Breckenridge, Bayleigh Bell, and Taylor Champney. Champney placed first in the 200 (27.4) and pole vault (5’6”), and joined Brewer, Rose Pitman, and Breanne Milson for a first place finish in the 4x400. Brewer’s 5:21.2 in the 1500 was good enough for first place; the Red Devil sophomore also took the 800 with a 2:39.1.
