Gordon takes DMV issues seriously
Oneida County deserves a County Clerk willing to take the time to understand DMV procedures and needs. The Clerk needs to come to the offices, talk to the customers, and implement procedures to help our offices work better for the public and for the employees. Dave Gordon will be that Clerk.
This past summer in the understaffed Rome office, the line was often out the door causing customers to become irate and leave stating they were taking their business elsewhere. If they go out of the county, Oneida loses 12.7% revenue per transaction. Over the course of a year that is a substantial, unnecessary revenue loss.
This is an unfair environment for all involved. Many of the DMV transactions are difficult and time consuming, requiring experienced, competent employees. The current conditions are pushing us to look for employment elsewhere. Having inexperienced employees will make the situation worse for the citizens of Oneida County.
The current clerk Sandra DePerno laughs in her interviews every time the FixtheDMV slogan is brought up to her. This is not a laughing matter to the employees of the DMV, customers, and car dealers in Oneida County. Do not let the current Clerk’s campaign tell you there is nothing that can be done to fix our issues.
Dave Gordon has ideas, enthusiasm and a new perspective to help our County in the Clerks office as well as the DMV.
Why did our County officials including our County Clerk and Legislators receive a substantial raise, but we are unable to obtain the supplies we need to run our office smoothly? This county needs Dave Gordon to ask the big questions of our current legislators to get out of this deficit. Let’s vote for an important change in Oneida County: Dave Gordon.
