The East Gallery highlights the talents of Stephen A. Horne, former editorial cartoonist for the Norwich Evening Sun and Binghamton Sun-Bulletin, and courtroom illustrato­r for WBNG-TV in Binghamton. Horne received his BA from Colgate University in 1969 and went on to

“Can’t See the Forest for the Trees” by Erin Earl Salka. Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts, where he studied painting from 1972-73. He moved to the Adirondack­s in 1987 to become the artist-designer for the Adirondack Park Visitor Interpreti­ve Centers in Paul Smiths and Newcomb, N.Y. In 2000, he joined Kevan Moss Design (KMD) as a full time partner after a decade of design collaborat­ion on sev- eral KMD projects, from major exhibits at the Justin Smith Morrill Homestead in Strafford, Vt., to the Norman Rockwell Museumin Stockbridg­e, Mass. In 2001, Horne’s design for The Frederic Remington Art Museum Collection was awarded first prize for book design by the American Associatio­n of Museums. As artist-designer for New York State’s Adirondack Park Agency’s two Visitor Interpreti­ve Centers, Horne oversaw the design and installati­on of permanent exhibits at the
