Hamilton Ramblers, Holiday Gift Shop this weekend
EARLVILLE, N.Y. >> The Hamilton Ramblers will perform in the Earlville Opera House Arts Café Friday at 7 p.m.
The Hamilton Ramblers boast a “Bluegrass meets Classical” blend, with Dave Folta on mandolin and mandola, and John Crespi on guitar. Tickets are $15 general admission, $13 for EOH members, and $10 for youths ages 17 and under.
Concertgoers are also invited to peruse the first floor of the historic 19th century building and view the 21st annual Holiday Gift Shop. This traditional holiday experience features the work of Central New York artists. There will also be a holiday gift basket raffle.
Hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays noon to 4 p.m. The shop will be open through Dec. 22.
On Saturday, Dec. 8 from noon to 3 p.m., in connection with the village of Earlville’s Christmas Cel- ebration Day, the Opera House will host a Holiday Open House with a bake sale, free ornament and card making for children, a surprise visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, free cocoa and cookies, membership discounts and a “Silent Night” auction table. At 1 p.m. will be a staged reading of “It’s a Wonderful Life” told in theater radio style by the Sherburne Music Theater Society
he EOH Mainstage will host bluegrass legends The Gibson Brothers performing “A Northern Country Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $40 general admission, $36 for EOH members, and $10 for youths ages 17 and under.
