Slime Time at the Oneida Library
Children rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty making homemade slime at the Oneida Public Library on Saturday.
About a dozen children and their families showed up at the library for the Family Super Saturday event. Bottles of glue, food coloring, glitter and more lined the table, along with contact lens solution donated by Empire Vision works to makes ure the slime projects came together just right.
Youth Services Coordinator lead the kids using the book “Ultimate Slime,” which is available to be checked out fromthe library by any families interested in making some at home. The kids used stirring sticks and their hands to knead the slime together, adding color, glitter and even foam beads to make their own unique creations to take home.
