CNY Sportsman Show seeks nominations

ONEIDA, N.Y. >> The CNY Sportsman Show is requesting nominations for Sportsman of the Year, and also outdoor photos and trophy mounts to display at the show scheduled for Feb. 2 at the Kallet Civic Center in Oneida.

The ideal candidate for Sportsman of the Year may have benefited the community or contributed to their sport, wildlife, conservation, or the environment. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and announced at the show at noon. Contact information for the nominees and those nominating should be included with the entries.

Photos of sportsmen and sportswomen displaying their trophies, or enjoying hunting, fishing, or the outdoors will be displayed on the Wall of Fame. Trophy mounts of deer, elk, fish, bear, or other wildlife will be displayed on the stage.

The show will feature authors, businesses, and clubs representing hunting, fishing, wildlife artwork, and other outdoor related categories from the central New York area.
