LORENA MAY MILLER

Munnsville-Lorena May Miller, 56, of Munnsville, NY died peacefully at home on January 14, 2019 after a 10 year battle with cancer.

She was born on November 24, 1962 in Washington, IA to Chester and Annie (Yoder) Ropp.

On March 27, 2010, she married Alvin S. Miller of Munnsville, NY. She is survived by her husband Alvin; her mother, Annie, of Kalona, IA, 9 step-children; Dale (Miriam) Miller, Auburn, KY; Richard (Mary) Miller, Woodstown, NJ; Duane (Laura) Miller, Munnsville, NY; Ruth Ann (Luke) Coblentz, Mannington, NJ; Nelson (Laura) Miller, Dickson, TN, currently serving in Ukraine; Regina (Myron) Stoltzfus, Oriskany Falls, NY; Lorene (late Marvin) Stoltzfus, Salem, NJ; Matthew (Malinda) Miller, Oriskany Falls, NY; Eldon Miller, Munnsville, NY, 44 step grandchildren, 1 step great-grandchild; 1 sister and 3 brothers, Rosemary (Sam) Coblentz, Guthrie, KY; Earl (Emma Faye) Ropp; Wayne (Dorothy) Ropp; and Monroe (Orpha) Ropp, all of Kalona, IA, 12 nieces, 7 nephews, 4 aunts, and 5 uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester, 1 step-son-in-law, Marvin Stoltzfus, and 1 step grandson, Jeffery Miller. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Madison Mennonite Church, 3859 Stratford St., Madison, New York. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Madison Mennonite Church.
