ONEIDA 66, CENTRAL VALLEY ACADEMY 57 >> Oneida extracted a measure of revenge at CVA on Friday, avenging an early season blowout with a 66-57 road win. Vinny Leibl caught fire from behind the arc, draining four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 27 points to lead the Oneida effort. Jacob Vaccaro (17), Will Merrell (11), and BenWright (10) joined Leibl in double figures for Jeff Didio’s Oneida side. Connor Trevor paced CVA with 21 on the evening. Jake Schoff added 16 for the Thunder. VERNON-VERONA-SHERRILL 57, CAMDEN 43 >> The Vernon-Verona- Sherrill defense held TVL foe Camden to 15 points across the first half of play on Friday, keying a 57- 43 victory. Bailey Janowski put up 20 points to lead the Red Devil attack, while teammate Jacob Horodnick paced VVS in assists with six. Richie Paul netted 19 points for Camden in the defeat. CHITTENANG­O 47, PHOENIX 44 >> Paul Wood dropped a game-high 24 points to help lead Chittenang­o past Phoenix in OHSL play on Friday. Noah Schnauffer chipped in with 15 points on five 3-pointers. Jack Allen netted 14 to lead Phoenix.

CHITTENANG­O 3, SHERBURNE-EARLVILLE 0 >> Chit- tenango is off and rolling in the defense of its Section III Class B title following a 257, 25-14, 25-10 sweep over Sherburne- Earlville on Thursday. Senior Tyla Cutrie buried 22 kills to lead the Chittenang­o attack and cement her name in Bears’ lore with her 900th career kill. Savannah Penoyer and Sydney Pellman landed seven aces each, and Shelby Maring and Bayla Cutrie tied for a team-high 14 assists. CANASTOTA 3, LOWVILLE 1>> No. 2 seed Canastota secured a spot in the Section II Class B semifinals following a 25-9, 22-25, 25-17, 25-16 victory over No. 7 Lowville on Thursday. Loryn Wilcox put away six kills to go with 28 assists for the Raiders in the victory. Teammate Sierra Tucci paced Canastota in kills with 12, while Taylor Kutzuba led the defensive effort with 21 digs. Brianna Finn paced Lowville with 11 kills and 14 digs. STOCKBRIDG­E VALLEY 3, WATERVILLE 2 >> No. 2 seed Stockbridg­e Valley punched its ticket to the Section III Class D semifinals with a 3-2 victory over Waterville.
