CANASTOTA 45, SOUTHERN HILLS 20 >> Canastota puts its myriad of offensive weapons on display during a victory over Southern Hills in its regular season finale.

Quarterbac­k Andrew Marshall rushed for a 10yard touchdown and connected with Brandon Ball on a 22-yard score to help the Raiders out to an early lead. Sophomore Devon Youker squeezed in a 15yard touchdown run betweenMar­shall’s two scores as Canastota took a 20-0 lead at the end of the first.

The onslaught continued in the second quarter as Greg Olden hauled in a 10-yard touchdown from Marshall before adding a 38-yard rushing touchdown on the Raiders’ next score. Nick Weber joined his Canastota teammates with a trip to the end zone on a one-yard rush just before the half for a 39-0 advantage.

Youker showed off his wheels on a 65-yard punt return touchdown to cap the Raider scoring as Class C South champion Canastota heads into postseason play.

Ty Freyer started things off for Cazenovia with a 20-yard touchdown run in the first before quarterbac­k Ryan Romagnoli made his presence felt in the second quarter with a 21-yard rushing score and a 60-yard passing touchdown to EvanMurray. Already up 21- 0 after the half, Romagnoli added a 37yard rushing touchdown for the Lakers in the third as Cazenovia cruised to a 27-6 decision.

The Thunder added a Mitchell Arndt touchdown in the third quarter to put the contest out of reach. VVS broke up the shutout on a 10-yard touchdown pass from Ben Wittman to Matthew Rossi.
