MADISON 47, TULLY 29 >> Eammon Shields, 18, and Hudson Idzi, 12, entered double figures for Madison in a convincing victory over Tully. Idzi also paced the Blue Devils in rebounds, 7, and blocks, 6, in the win.

21 >> Sophomore Bryce Bishop had 5 3-pointers and 19 points in a 80-20 Chittenango victory at APW. Freshman Tyrus Kelly followed with 17, and Jacob Dawkins and Kyle Manwaring each added 10 points for the Bears.

STOCKBRIDGE VALLEY 36, OTSELIC VALLEY 28 >> Layla Jayson netted 16 points and hauled in 12 rebounds for Stockbridge to lead the Cougars to a Central Counties League win in its season opener. Hannah Greene chipped in with five points and seven rebounds for SVCS.

ONEIDA 3, PROCTOR 0 >> Oneida took care of business in its season opener, dispatching Proctor in straight sets (2512, 25-11, 25-18) to post a Tri-Valley League victory. Zoey Fox was lethal for Oneida on the serve, piling up 10 aces to go with 15 assists and six digs. Jamie Jones added six kills, seven digs, and four blocks for Oneida in the victory.
VERNON- VERONA- SHERRILL 3, ROME FREE ACADEMY 0 >> LeeAnne Lowery was a menace for VVS at the net in a season opening win over RFA, recording 10 kills and 5 blocks to help fuel VVS to a 25-22, 2519, 25-13 win. Sadie Riggs added 7 kills, 5 digs and 2 aces for the Red Devils in the victory.

CAMDEN9, VERNON-VERONASHERRILL 2 >> Emily Wines collected 553 pins to help lead Camden past VVS at Lucky Shots on Tuesday. Susan Stevens (447) and Sarah Lanz (423) paced VVS in the defeat. HERKIMER 4, CANASTOTA 1 >> Madison Winters rolled a high-game of 200 against Canastota to lead the Magicians to a 4-1 victory. Amelia Dansby led the Raiders with a 133-344.
